1. Channel gate types
There are many varieties of channel gates, which can be divided into:
Swing gate, which is a pedestrian channel control device with a high safety protection level, mainly used in places where people and vehicles pass through.
Speed gate (wing gate), its characteristic is that it can run quickly and smoothly. It is mainly used in places with high requirements for passage speed;
Three-roller gate, which is a restricted-level access control device specially used for access control and personnel flow. Features include low price, simple maintenance and powerful anti-tailgating function;
Rotating gate is a two-way agile channel control device designed for places with high-level security requirements, which can be used for channel management without supervision. ;
Sliding gate is a restricted-level channel control device designed for places with wide channels, mainly used in indoor places.

2. General functional characteristics of channel gate
1. Anti-tailgating function: The channel gate equipment is equipped with infrared sensors. When the user swipes the card, he can pass freely. When the infrared sensor detects that the user has passed, the gate will automatically close. Once the infrared sensor detects the occurrence of tailgating, the channel gate will alarm according to the pre-set settings.
2. Abnormal use conditions:
(1) When the gate is closed, a pedestrian who breaks into the channel in the opposite direction enters the channel after the authorization signal is issued. Before passing the first safety photoelectric detection zone, if the reverse infrared detection detects that someone has entered, the buzzer will automatically alarm and the gate will remain closed.
(2) When the pedestrian leaves, the pedestrian enters the second infrared sensing zone in the opposite direction. Without a valid signal to open the door, the second infrared sensing zone detects someone entering again. The alarm system announces the alarm and the door will not be closed.
(3) The time interval between the first detector of the tailgate detecting the pedestrian and the last detector of the tailgate leaving the first infrared sensing zone is about 0.25 seconds. After the pedestrian leaves the first infrared sensing zone, without the card reader signal announcing the door opening, the first infrared sensing zone detects a pedestrian (the follower) again, and the alarm sounds.
(4) After the trailing pedestrian enters the infrared sensing zone, the first detector detects an unauthorized person entering. The gate is immediately closed and the alarm sounds.
