日前，南京市栖霞区在拆除一处废旧厂房的围墙时，清理出大量明代南京的城墙砖，经初步统计约有2万块，这是近几年发现数量较多的一次。4月29日，记者从南京城墙保护管理中心获悉，这些城砖回收后已被运入城砖库房统一保管，将用于南京城墙修缮保护、城砖铭文研究以及展览展示等工作。

栖霞区燕子矶街道文化站原站长董跃明是这批散落城砖的线索发现者。据介绍，一个多月前，在他的带领下，南京城墙保护管理中心、南京城墙保护基金会相关工作人员前往燕子矶街道笆斗西里地区进行实地探访，他们穿过一条崎岖野道，看到了一道围墙，呈东西向，长度约300米，高约4米。围墙用的都是大青砖，长40厘米、宽20厘米、厚10厘米，铭文清晰可见，与南京城墙砖砖文格式、内容一致。

据南京城墙保护管理中心学术研究部副主任赵梦薇向记者介绍，明城砖铭文记录了它们来自哪里，由谁监制，制砖人是谁，烧制窖工又是谁。比如，此次发现的一块城砖上写着“瑞州府提调官通判程益司吏艾成 新昌县提调官主簿崔仲郁司吏胡平实”，可见这是一块明初瑞州府新昌县烧造的城砖，大致位于今江西省宜丰县新昌镇。其府一级的督造官员有通判程益和司吏艾成，县一级的官员则包括主簿崔仲郁和司吏胡平实。

发现明城砖的围墙原属于南京一家电瓷厂。董跃明介绍，7年前，他获悉该处围墙是由明城砖砌成，因当时电瓷厂还未迁走，他便将这个消息告知了南京城墙保护管理中心。双方近年来一直关注着电瓷厂的动向。如今厂房被推平，已达到了可回收的条件。

赵梦薇告诉记者，上个月，他们来到电瓷厂老员工王女士家中，王女士回溯了这道围墙所用城砖的来源——上世纪50年代，南京城墙遭到大规模拆除，电瓷厂从中央门一带运回大量城砖。该地因毗邻南京外郭城墙，外郭被拆除后，电瓷厂又收集部分外郭散落城砖用于建造厂区建筑。

“这道围墙初步估算约有2万块明城砖。”赵梦薇告诉记者，因自然、历史等原因，南京城墙有大批城砖流散在外，为加强南京城墙修缮保护，2016年11月，南京城墙保护管理中心和南京城墙保护基金会共同发起“颗粒归仓守护城墙”活动，面向全社会广泛征集散落的明城砖线索，截至目前已回收城砖50多万块，回收的城砖用于南京城墙修缮保护、研究、展览等工作。

对回收城砖的信息采集工作，进一步完善了南京城墙砖铭文数据库，抢救了重要的砖文信息，推进了南京城墙的基础研究和展示宣传工作。
